Community Development Projects
Gaps for Grumpies will be operating in Ghana and Tanzania in 2010. The dates for 2,4 and 6 week projects are listed below with the prices.
The costs do not include the flights to and from Accra and Dar e Salam but include all meals and accommodation during the project, continuous supplies of water, transport to and from the project and a night in a good hotel the night you arrive. You will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel where you will receive a full briefing on the project before setting out the next day.
You should aim to arrive in Accra or Dar on the Saturday. The project usually finishes on a Friday.
There will be opportunities for grumpies to join projects run by our partner, Madventurer, in a wide range of other countries including Kenya, Uganda, India, Fiji, Thailand, Vietnam and South Africa - as well as on a greater variety of dates in Ghana and Tanzania.
Madventurer tend to concentrate on the 17-40 age groups,so if you want to be with a predominantly "Grumpy" group then we recommend you opt for a community project on one of the dates listed below.
